Cognate Categories


Students will explore the diversity of musical cultures, both popular and traditional, as well as directly experience music making in one of the many university ensembles. Participation in three ensembles is required to complete this cognate. If a student elects not to complete three ensembles, the student may instead complete Option Group Three of the World of Music Cognate. Please note that all ensembles require an audition.
