Description

The rich literary tradition that developed in England and other parts of the British Isles, and that remains a significant part of our cultural heritage today; it includes writers such as Shakespeare, Swift, Austen, Dickens, and Woolf. Students will gain a broad understanding of the British literary tradition, or a substantial part of it, and will then focus in on a favorite author or literary period in this tradition.
