Cognate Categories

Description

A study of literary works written by women, as well as the changing representations of women in literature by both men and women. Students will explore issues of gender and sexuality in literary works that reflect a variety of historical and cultural contexts and the differing perspectives of important novelists, playwrights, and poets.
