Cognate Categories

Description

This cognate examines film from various historical, theoretical, cultural, and aesthetic perspectives. Students will gain advanced knowledge in international cinema history, directors, genres, forms, and traditions. Students gain a comprehension of the role of social contexts, develop tools in close analysis of individual films, and hone writing skills.
